Note to Anon Heil 18VII

[5-8]: At least one example of a pilgrimage to a local shrine of Blaise, at Breiðholt, near Reykjavík, is mentioned in Þorláks saga (Jón Helgason 1978, 373), in which a man who had lost the power of speech vowed to give some oil to the saint (c. 1325).
