The Unicode Standard v. 5.1 has a breve over the vowels ‘A’, ‘a’, ‘E’, ‘e’, ‘I’, ‘i’, ‘O’, ‘o’, ‘U’ and ‘u’ in Latin Extended-A. This subrange contains additional characters with breve. The Unicode Standard advises encoding characters of this type as a sequence of the baseline character and the COMBINING BREVE (0306), and this way of encoding has been given as an alternative for each character below. Note that four of the six characters in the list below have duplicate code points in Junicode (v. 0.6.12).
