([17] As Finnur observes in Skj, the reading enni is equally possible. eirní is preferred here because of the preponderance of readings with ei- in Eb mss. (all except AM 309, which is corrupt at this point, and AM 446). [18] Skj has hygg-, but this part of the ms. is now illegible. )
