Gíslaug had (this) cut in memory of her son; Spjallboði, Ulfr, Ingvarr, Holmfastr, Geiri, they made the bridge in memory of their brother Thegn, (who) perished abroad, and in memory of Bjǫrn, their father. May God help (their) souls.
