G. Timelines for the project and publication plans

This is not currently part of the peer-reviewed material of the project. Do not cite as a research publication.

We originally anticipated that copy for the final version of the edition would be submitted to the publisher in late 2006 for publication in 2007. At that time (and this is stated in the first edition) we were thinking of publishing the edition in two volumes, the first of long poems, the second of lausavísur and other fragments, with a third volume of bibliography and indices. Since that time, our thinking has changed, in part as a consequence of discussions with our chosen publisher (see below). We will still, however, be requiring Contributing Editors to submit draft editions of all assigned textual material by October 2004, as originally planned. The final submission of revised edited material is likely to be staggered thereafter, according to the schedule below. It will be necessary for the General Editors to have the material well in advance of publication, as they will have to manage a great number of verses.
