3. Impending publication of Vol. VII and sequence of publication for other volumes
This is not currently part of the peer-reviewed material of the project. Do not cite as a research publication.
The proofs for Vol. VII, Poetry on Christian Subjects, ed. Margaret Clunies Ross, have been received from Brepols and are currently being checked by Margaret. Publication of the hard copy should occur within the next month, and will be in two parts, the first containing poetry from the twelfth and thirteenth centuries, and the second poetry from the fourteenth century plus the indices and bibliography. Publication of the electronic version of Vol. VII will follow as soon as possible thereafter.
Vol. II, Poetry from the Kings’ Sagas 2: From c. 1036 to c. 1300, ed. Kari Ellen Gade, will be the next volume to be published, in late 2008. This will be followed by Vols. VI (Runic Poetry, ed. Edith Marold) and IV (Poetry on Icelandic History, ed. Guðrún Nordal), and by Vol. I (Poetry from the Kings’ Sagas 1: From Mythical Times to c. 1035, ed. Diana Whaley), in mid 2009.
Other volumes are expected to follow the sequence previously anticipated.
