Á miðja nátt fyrir framferðartíma sællar Mörtu , að sofnaðum bræðrum og þeim mönnum sem vöku héldu með kertum og ljósum , þaut mikill hvirfilvindur , uppvaktur af þeim er öfundar alla dugandi menn , hinum illgjarna andskota , í herberginu svo að slokknaði þrjú stór kerti og þrír lampar .
