Hrólf 9-11 are found in the section of the saga dealing with the visit of King Hrólfr and his champions to the hall of King Aðils of Sweden.
Dalr er í hnakka, auga er ór höfði,
örr er í enni, högg eru á hendi tvau.

‘There is a hollow in the back of his head, an eye is out of his head, a scar is on his forehead, two cuts are on his arm. ’
When King Hrólfr and his champions visit King Aðils in his hall, Svipdagr leads them in, and Aðils greets his former follower with these words.
[2]: The alliteration is on the second stave; Finnur Jónsson (Skj B), and Kock (Skald; NN §2835), emend to ór hǫfði auga. — [3-4]: As in Hrólf 5/1-2, l. 4 has double alliteration, and there is no alliteration between ll. 3 and 4; both Skj B and Skald delete eru in l. 4 to create a metrical line, and Kock emends to hǫgg á armi tvau.
