[2-3] siklingr sólbryggju ‘prince of the sun-pier [SKY/HEAVEN > = God ( = Christ)]’: Cf. 19/1: tyggi tunglbryggju ‘king of the moon-pier’. This model for heaven-kennings is also used in hirðir mánabryggju ‘guardian of the moon-pier’ in Mgr 46/5-6.
