The new edition is either unpublished or unavailable. The following is taken from an old edition (Skj where relevant):

Maður hét Einar, góður bóndi. Hann bjó norður í Fljóti. Hann var knár og vasklegur maður. Hann hafði komið við hval um sumarið og hafði gnótt föstumatar, riklinga og rafi og fiska. Hann var lítill vin þeirra í Aðalvík Magnúss prests og Snorra sonar hans og vísaði Snorri Órækju þangað til föstumatar. Órækja sendi norður þangað Maga-Björn og Einar koll með sveit manna. En er þeir fundu Einar föluðu þeir föstumat að honum en hann vildi engan selja og bauð þeim vætt hvals og aðra riklinga. Þeir vildu það ekki og hljópu inn sumir í húsin en Einar hljóp í dyr og hafði sviðu í hendi. Tjörvi húskarl hans fylgdi honum. Einar vann á einum þeirra félaga. Þá hljópu þeir er inni voru á bak honum og hrundu honum út. Tóku þeir hann og lögðu niður en Tannur son Þorkels nadds hjó hann banahögg. Eftir það hlóðu þeir þaðan teinæring með mat og fóru síðan heim í Vatnsfjörð.
