The interface for adding and editing verse text is available via the 'edit verse text' link on the verse view page.
Using the interface for adding the edited text is the most complicated part of this procedure. It needs to be done carefully and in the order specified. If you subsequently modify data which was entered early in the process, e.g. the base edited text, you may also have to repeat the next steps in the sequence, e.g. generating the prose order and translation, in their entirety, for the verse concerned. For these reasons, it is wise to avoid modifying data entered early in the process. For the time being, the main issue here is that if the order of words in the base edited text is changed, then the process must be restarted from the first stage (base edited text).
Once you have selected the individual stanza you wish to enter (through 'skalds' > 'poem' > 'verse' or by some other means), click on the link 'edit verse text', or on the pencil icon at the top of the screen. This brings up a series of forms to edit data associated with the verse. The forms for entering the verse text are under 'more editing forms...'. The following sections describe how these forms are used to enter the verse text.
