The new edition is either unpublished or unavailable. The following is taken from an old edition (Skj where relevant):

Landsmenn lofuðu Þorstein gullknapp fyrir þetta verk og fengu
honum hringinn Sótanaut og kváðust honum hans vel njóta og
unna. En er Þorsteinn spurði umræðu Þorbjargar vildi hann
gjarna þetta verk aldrei gert hafa. Nær sex tigir manna voru
drepnir af Hólmverjum, og að auk þeir fóstbræður, í
Dögurðarnesi.

Nú töluðu þeir um höfðingjarnir að ráð væri að fara eftir
Helgu og drepa sonu þeirra Harðar. Þá þótti sumum of síð
dags. Höfðu þeir þá að því samtak að þeim skyldi engi grið
gefa né ásjá veita ella skyldu allir þeim hefna. Svo var ríkt
við lagið. Þeir ætluðu út um morguninn en voru þar um
nóttina.
