En er Ólafur konungur hóf ferð sína þá kom til hans lið það er Svíakonungur fékk honum og voru það fjögur hundruð manna. Fer konungur þær leiðir er Svíar kunnu fyrir. Stefndu þeir upp á land til marka og komu þar fram er kallað er Járnberaland.

Þar kom í móti konungi lið það er farið hafði af Noregi til móts við hann sem hér er fyrr frá sagt. Hitti hann þar Harald bróður sinn og marga aðra frændur sína og varð það hinn mesti fagnaðarfundur. Höfðu þeir þá allir saman tólf hundruð manna.
