Ólafur konungur tók sótt, þá er hann leiddi til bana, og er
hann jarðaður að Kristskirkju í Niðarósi og var hann hið
mesta harmaður. Síðan réðu þeir tveir konungar landi,
Eysteinn og Sigurður, en áður höfðu þeir þrír bræður verið
konungar tólf vetur, fimm síðan er Sigurður kom til lands en
sjö áður. Ólafur konungur var sautján vetra er hann andaðist
en það var ellefta Kalendas Januarii.

Þá er Eysteinn konungur hafði verið einn vetur austur í
landi, en Sigurður konungur var norður, þá sat Eysteinn
konungur lengi um veturinn í Sarpsborg.
