The new edition is either unpublished or unavailable. The following is taken from an old edition (Skj where relevant):

Haraldur var marga vetur í hernaði þessum, er nú var frá
sagt, bæði í Serklandi og Sikileyju. Síðan fór hann aftur til
Miklagarðs með her þenna og dvaldist þar litla hríð áður hann
byrjaði ferð sína út í Jórsalaheim. Þá lét hann eftir
málagull Grikkjakonungs og allir Væringjar, þeir er til
ferðar réðust með honum. Svo er sagt að í öllum ferðum þessum
hafi Haraldur áttar átján fólkorustur.

Svo segir Þjóðólfur:

Þjóð veit, að hefr háðar

hvargrimmlegar rimmur,

rofist hafa oft fyr jöfri,

átján Haraldr, sáttir.

Höss arnar rauðstu hvassar,

hróðigr konungr, blóði,

ímr gat krás hvars komuð,

klær, áðr hingað færir.
