[4] Vefsnir ‘Vefsnfjorden’: Located in Hålogaland, northern Norway, north of Tjøtta (see Þul Eyja 3/7). This fjord-name is derived from Vefsn, the name of a river, lit. ‘twisting one’, cf. vefa ‘weave’ (ÍO: Vefsnir).
