This month I made a number of refinements to the interface including the lemma views, with more metrical context (i.e. stanza line) and implementation of viewing according to sense (categorised). The general idea here was to make the lexicon more compatible with ONP and to present the work at a paper on 26 January.
I took a short course in TeX and have implemented a XeTeX export for each dictionary entry, producing a formatted, two-column PDF with the definitions and citations for each word, organised according to sense.
I made some refinements to the editing forms, including implementing the prose word order and translation entering (with drag and drop reordering) in the JQM interface, as well as forms for splitting compounds across volumes and texts.
Klaus Johan Myrvoll visited 16-20 January and began work on lemmatising, adding textual variants and data entry. I also began to merge his metrical analysis database with the skaldic database. I made a number of refinements to the forms in the light of his work.
I presented my first 6 months work at the Arnamagnaean forskermøde on 26 January: https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1fuAsOv4biD779z7IvIn1Xym0OjDn0BEAGjweVenHGJM/edit?usp=sharing
