Ský heita með mönnum

kalla vindflot vanir,
úrván jötnar,
álfar veðrmegin,

(‘Clouds they’re called by men, and hope-of-showers by the gods,

hope-of-dew the giants call them, power-of-storms the elves,
in hell the concealing helmet.’
