{The magnificent only son of King Óláfr} [= Magnús] came west from Russia. Magnús received all his ancestral land and great power.

notes: Magnús Óláfsson returned to Norway from Russia by way of Sweden in 1035. He was elected king at Øretinget (Eyraþing, Eyra assembly) in Trondheim the same year.
