Hjálpi æsir         ok ásynjur,
görvöll regin,         gyðju sinni!

Æsir ok ásynjur, görvöll regin, hjálpi gyðju sinni!

May gods and goddesses, all divine powers, help their priestess!

Context: After Oddr has spoken st. 69, he goes after the priestess with a huge oak club, but she escapes into a temple (hof) that stands in the town. She runs inside, uttering this helmingr.

Notes: [All]: This helmingr functions as a kind of refrain (stef). It also occurs as Ǫrv 61/5-8; see Note to [All] to that stanza.
