Þróttöflugr kom
áþing goða
ok hafði hver
þannz Hymir átti
en véar hverjan
vel skulu drekka
ölðr að Ægis,
eitt hörmeitið.   (eddic or germanic)

(The mighty one came to the gods’ assembly,
bringing the kettle which Hymir had owned;
and the gods will drink in delight
ale at Ægir’s every winter.
