Þora munk reiðr at rjóða
randa skóð í blóði,
hvergi's rekks, með rekkum,
ríðr flugdreki slíðra;
áðr gafk erni fæðu,
undgjóðs lituðr, blóði,
fyrr skalk hǫgg við hǫggvi,
