Fekk inn folkrakki framðisk ungr sigri Snorri sár-orra sverði gnógs verðar; laust í lífs kǫstu, Leifa má-reifir, unda gjalfrs eldi, þás Arnkell feldi.
By his sword, the stout-hearted warrior provided sufficient food for the bird of wounds – young Snorri won fame for himself in victory; when he felled Arnkell, the gladdener of Leifi’s gull struck at the chest of life with the wound-sea’s fire.
