Níu eru himnar
á hæð talðir.
Veitk enn nezta,
sá es vindbláinn,
sá es heiðornir
ok hreggmímir;
annarr heitir
andlangr himinn
- þat máttu skilja -
þriði víðbláinn;
víðfeðmi kveðk
vesa enn fjórða;
hrjóðr ok hlýrni
hygg enn sétta,
gimir, vetmímir -
getk nú vesa
átta himna
upp of talða,
skattyrnir stendr
skýjum øfri;
hann es útan
alla heima.
