Maður er nefndur Bjartmar. Hann kom út til Íslands í Arnarfirði og byggði þann er í Eyju hét. Það er í Arnarfjarðarbotni. Bjartmar var kvongaður maður. Helgi og Sigurður hétu synir hans. Gunnhildur hét dóttir þeirra Bjartmars. Hún var fríð kona sýnum. Um sumarið eftir kom skip af hafi. maður er nefndur Vésteinn er skipið átti. Hann vistaðist um veturinn með Bjartmari. Hann gekk eiga Gunnhildi dóttur hans. Vésteinn var allra manna vopnfimastur. Þau Gunnhildur og Vésteinn áttu tvö börn. Son þeirra hét Vésteinn en Auður dóttir. Vésteinn Vésteinsson gerðist fardrengur góður og átti hann þó í Önundarfirði undir Hesti. Kona hans hét Hildur. Bergur hét son hans og Helgi. Þá er þetta var tíðinda andaðist Þorbjörn súr og Ísgerður kona hans. Þeir Þorkell og Gísli tóku þá við búi eftir þau. Þorbjörn og Ísgerður voru í haug lögð í Haukadal. Litlu síðar biður Þorkell sér konu.
