Látínu klerkar hafa ok þá hending í versum er þeir kalla consonantia, ok skal hinn sami raddarstafr vera í efstu samstǫfu hvárrartveggju sagnar, sem hér: aestas, terras.
(Latin scholars also have that rhyme in verses which they call consonantia; and the same vowel must be in the last syllable of both words, as here: ‘aestas’, ‘terras’. )
