Þá var skeytt þannug Hernes mikla á Frostu í próventu hans. En Haraldur réð þá einn landi eftir um veturinn og gaf öllum mönnum sættir er hafa vildu, tók þá marga menn til hirðvistar er með Magnúsi höfðu verið.
