Atli litli (Atli)
11th century; volume 3; ed. R. D. Fulk;
Poem about Óláfr kyrri (Ól) - 1
The nickname litli ‘the Short’ is given in Skáldatal (SnE 1848-87, III, 275), where Atli (Atli) is identified as a skald of King Óláfr kyrri ‘the Quiet’ Haraldsson (r. 1067-93; see SkP II, lxxxviii-lxxxix); hence the assumption that the present helmingr is about Óláfr. Nothing further is known of Atli or his poetry.
