[2] Brú ‘of Bru <island>’: Bru (ON Brúa) is a small island in Boknafjorden, Rogaland, western Norway (see Þul Islands l. 2). It is located a little south of Rennesøy. The LaufE variant ‘brunn’ cannot be construed to make any sense, and in 743ˣ it has been emended by Árni Magnússon to ‘Bolm’ (see Note to Lv 8/7 above).
