Note to Ív Sig 30^II

[All]: The st. reports on the death of Finnr, which comes later in the prose text when Sigurðr captures and hangs him at Kville, in northern Bohuslän, present-day Sweden (see Mork 1928-32, 429; Andersson and Gade 2000, 53). Finnr was the great-grandson of Úlfr stallari ‘the Marshal’ Óspaksson (Úlfr). See ÍF 28, 120.
