The new edition is either unpublished or unavailable. The following is taken from an old edition (Skj where relevant):



Sveinn konungur skipaði og sínu liði. Lagði hann sitt skip
móti skipi Haralds konungs í miðju liði en næst honum lagði
fram Finnur jarl Árnason sitt skip. Skipuðu Danir þar næst
öllu því liði er fræknast var og best búið. Síðan tengdu
hvorirtveggju sín skip allt um miðjan flotann. En fyrir því
að svo mikill var herinn þá var það allur fjöldi skipanna er
laust fór og lagði þá svo hver fram sitt skip sem skap hafði
til en það var allmisjafnt. En þótt liðsmunur væri allmikill
þá höfðu hvorirtveggju óvígjan her. Sveinn konungur hafði í
liði með sér sex jarla.



Steinn Herdísarson sagði svo:



Hætti hersa drottinn

hugstrangr, skipa langra

hinn er með hálft beið annað

hundrað, Dana fundar.

Næst var það er réð rista

reiðr aðseti Hleiðrar

þangs láð mörum þingað

þremr hundruðum sunda.
