Frák ofrhugann øfra,
Eyjólf við þrek deyja;
seggr fekk sæmd af hǫggum
sannfrægr tíu manna;
meiðr svam mens frá láði
mætr við stýfðum fæti
(mikit var málma sækis
megn) ok lagðr í gegnum.
