Jórdán varð, þá er skjǫldung skírði
skíran Jón, er hjálpar ljónum,
blessuð endr ok, geisla grundar,
grandalaus af helgum anda;
þessi dýrð hefir vǫtn at vísu
vísa drottins gǫrvǫll prísat,
finnaz þau, með sigri sǫnnum,
