Eisandi veðr undan
uðr, nú's hvast ór suðri,
stœrir sterkar bôrur,
(starf esa smátt) fyr Hvarfi;
kløkkr verðr kjǫlr, en rakkan
kemr hregg í stað seggjum,
nú ro fjǫll á sæ sollin;
súð gengr æ sem prúðast.
